December 31, 2004
My holiday mood was definitely affected by the sombre loom of the tsunami. Even at the crowded streets in tst, unselfish groups held fundraising activities and talks to persuade people to donate money.

Just like last year, I shall publish a breif recount of my life this year. While it was named 'BeLove'04' last year, this year's is called 'TimeFunnel'04'.

December 30, 2004
To free time for a special schedule tmr, I had to take another sat practice test after my regular lesson today, which meant 6 hrs of tedious work. Fortunately, I was able to get my scores immediately after the test. After so, I traveled home and found a familiar, thick envelope lying on my desk. It was indeed my semester report. I picked it up, only to find out that it had already been opened..

I knew I could've done better. But, I won't whine. Let's move on.
December 29, 2004
Had dinner with Kevin, Michelle, Martin and Thomas @ 翡翠. The food was okay, yet I behaved somewhat roughly.. Well, I made that up by offering some free tong shui @ 糖朝. After that we walked to star avenue and took some pictures. Pictures, pictures, I want you. I'll try to show them later.
December 28, 2004
Life is full of wrong choices.
We're finally meeting tmr - a day I've been looking forward to for three months.

P.S. You guys made my day. Yes, it was just an ordinary 1-hr phone call (and I know we could have done better), but that made all the difference. Whether it's Martin embracing Mimi, Thomas sweating about his 田七 medicine, or Kevin demonstrating his inarguably arguable chem knowledge, they all sounded equally intriguing.
Add oil!
December 27, 2004
Went to mk today. Besides restringing my racquets, I also visited the computer center and bought two clip-on microphones. Take a look.

December 26, 2004   Boxing Day
Left home at 8.30 (almost immediately after I woke up) for breakfast and some tennis, and didn't get back till 11.15.. Quite unexpectedly, we were able to get tickets for 功夫. How was it? It depends.. I mean, there were definitely some laugh-bombs, but they might seem flippant to some. Had dinner @ tst (again..) with Tse. It was a fun day.
December 25, 2004    Christmas Day!

Merry Christmas!
My Christmas day started with an early lunch accompanied by my grandparents. It was a long meal..we sat for two hrs I guess.. Went home after that, rested for a while, and headed out to tst. This time, we joined the crowds and walked from PC to tst east, along the famous Star Avenue. Dined at Sabatini, and unexpectedly received a present from their Santa.. It was a great meal overall.

This is certainly the most jolly christmas I've ever had, with two christmas dinners (and actually, one more tmr night, which adds up to three) - wonderful food at splendid restaurants with beloved people. What more could I ask for?

December 24, 2004   Christmas Eve!

After a special cookie-party-style SAT lesson, I ferried to tst for late lunch, and finished reading DaVinci Code in the confined sitting area of Commercial Press @ Star House. That took me about three hours.. The true fun began at 6.30, where our christmas eve party started. Abundant christmas widgets spreaded across our table, and we unhesitatingly grabbed our favorites. Within seconds, the whole balcony roared with whistles, crackers, screams, and laughter. The climax came, when fireworks illuminated the skyline, and went. Then, Santa Claus came! (...) Well..quoting earlier from Paul (my sat teacher), "I shall assure that my children believe in Santa until they're about..12". Anyway, tonight was alot of fun.

I sincerely hope that you had enjoyed your Christmas Eve.

BG Music - Winter Wonderland
Introducing Winter Wonderland, by The Platters.
And of course, Merry Christmas!

December 23, 2004   "Piano" Black

Never have I seen a phone so strikingly beautiful, distinctively bold, and visually stunning. Unfortunately, it's not mine, but my bro's.

There seems to be a tendency of me having trouble in relationships. Especially around this time. Last year, her; this year, them. But this time I'm sure it's not my fault.
December 22, 2004
So, how did your night go? Mine was boring. And I know it could have been better. Yet you didn't care.

Wilson was right, perhaps I shouldn't cling onto my old friends forever.
December 21, 2004
After lesson, Wilson and I had lunch in Pret a Manger. Well..the food wasn't that bad, but comparatively it could be cheaper.

I speculated that tmr would be a great day, but no, I was wrong.
December 20, 2004
Started reading the DaVinci Code today, and am surprised how easy it is to fall dependent on it. Anyway, I should sleep earlier to prepare for yet another day of repeated routine. So, good night.
December 19, 2004
Played some tennis in the morning and bbq dinner just now. I also went to star house in the afternoon to get my old notebook fixed, but some stores weren't helpful, some weren't even opened, and none did any good. So..whatever.

By the way, my asia miles account have reached 50000+ points now. What should I redeem?
December 18, 2004   Good Morning, Hong Kong
Time is now, 7:56am. Woke up a bit earlier today and took some pictures. Perhaps, a 3D gallery to show them? (Please just install the plug-ins if requested, since I'll be making more stuff like this in the future.) Click to open.

December 17, 2004
Didn't do much today. Just stayed at home and..rested. Tmr will be a busy day though..we'll see.
December 16, 2004
Besides being astounded by hk's phenomenally high temperature, I feel warm, nurtured, blessed, and loved..tenderly. In a more simple phrasing, I feel like home.

BG Music - Blue Christmas by Elvis Presley
Let's gather some christmas ambience here. Enjoy..a blue blue christmas.

P.S. Meanwhile add oil in your remaining exams (or tests whatever), and I'll cya soon.

So, today marks the end of academic classes in 2004. Sigh..felt a bit sad in chem lesson. It'll be another 1/2 year before I have Mr. Hostage teaching me again.

And exams are up now. Let's climb these last few ladders and glide down the slide, to Christmas break.
December 7, 2004
The (or our) performance was great today. I felt purified and heavenly. I felt like my religious mind is elevated to a whole new level.

Beside that, Mrs. Palmer made my day too. In math class today, we were all sleepy and not paying attention. Well, she suddenly asked "To find the inverse of trig, what do you use?" yet none of us replied. In frustration, she screamed "Oh GOD! I feel like if I take off my clothes now no one would look at me!" Haha..
December 6, 2004   It's snowing!
Many say that history repeats itself. Well, does weather repeat itself? On december 6 '03 it began to snow big - same for this year. It started snowing around noon, layering snow on the partially-freezed potter pond.
Just to repeat what I did last yr, I have taken a short video of the snow.

Moreover, this year's 69th Annual Service of Lessons and Carols (with collegium performing, of course) shall be held tmr.

December 5, 2004

Me, Justin, Wilson and Steven, enjoying possibly the last chinese orderout in 2004.

"形象不是別人怎樣看你, 而是你怎樣看自己和表現自己."
During our orderout dinner, I played around with Steven's ipod photo. Its screen was quite nice..but I honestly doubt the practicality of viewing photos on it.. At the same price, you can get a Dell vga ppc, with a better & bigger screen and doubling as a pim. Yet, being a proud owner of a ppc and an ipod mini, I have to say that both are important and removing any one would be a pain to me.

BG Music - Ubi Caritas by Collegium '03
This song, arranged by Paul Halley, was performed by Taft's Collegium Musicum a year ago. It blends a futuristc melody with a spiritual African chant. This soothing tune is about 7 minutes long. Enjoy.

December 4, 2004   Unfair!
Life is unfair. Why do I get hostile responses when I'm simply trying to be friendly?

Yet, no one said life is fair - which is why I choose to escape from it.

"人生太早已看得化, 也可怕.."

More..
We actually had our French listening exam today. Well, during our test, the cd player suddenly stopped functioning properly and skipped around.. In frustration, Mr. Denyer whispered "Merde!" and a few people (including me of course) giggled. I love it when teachers do that!
December 3, 2004
Gotta run. Still have french quiz to revise and english journal to finish up. Good nite..
December 2, 2004
Volunteering today was terrible. Tutored a grade 2 girl who doesn't even speak. She had to write a short letter to the President and when asked "What do you want to tell the president?", she just starred at me blankly.. Well, of course I helped her since I'm supposed to, so I asked, again, "Do you have anything to tell the president?" and she just slightly shook her head. What kind of response is that?! To reassure that she didn't get my simple question wrong I asked if she really had nothing to write about, and she nodded her head. Sigh.. Was she attempting to give me a hard time? Or was it mental retardation? God knows..
December 1, 2004
December! I've been waiting for you for so long! Bring me back to the arms of my family!
And of course, Christmas is approaching. Yet, before heading home, I still have to endure the heinous exams. 13 days countdown. Also, received the cozy ipod socks today, which I've decided to give as presents to some selected few.
